1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Spine Friend ("the platform," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Not Medical Advice

Spine Friend is a peer community, not a medical provider. Content shared by members — including posts about routines, equipment, or personal experiences — reflects individual opinions and experiences only. It is not medical advice and should never replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Always talk to your doctor or care team before making changes to your care, medication, or equipment based on something you read here.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately through the Support message feature if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes another's rights
• Solicit money, sell products, or advertise commercial services without our permission
• Attempt to access another member's account or non-public parts of the platform
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest member data for purposes outside normal use of the app
• Upload viruses, malware, or attempt to disrupt the platform's operation

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

6. Reporting & Blocking

You can report content or a member, or block a member, at any time from their profile or a post. We review reports and take action we believe is appropriate, which may include content removal or account suspension. We are not obligated to take any specific action on a report.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Spine Friend a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for the content you share.

8. Equipment Marketplace

Listings in the Equipment section are posted by members, for members. Spine Friend is not a party to any sale, rental, or loan arranged between members and does not inspect, endorse, or guarantee any listed item. Exercise your own judgment — meet in safe locations, verify condition before exchanging money, and use secure payment methods.

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of member-submitted content, uninterrupted availability, or that the platform will be error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spine Friend and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other members, or reliance on content posted by members.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms or for conduct we believe is harmful to other members or the platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
